Beautiful Serbian monastery. We stopped on our way back from Shipshewana at 7pm and were greeted with such kindness by the sisters who were gardening. Such serenity and peace on this land. The church is stunning with hand painted frescos. We sat for a while and prayed then were joined by the most senior sister/mother who gave my 3yo daughter a miniture cross and icon picture. My husband, who is originally from Serbia, enjoyed speaking to the sisters and learning about their past. We were invited to the Sunday service and will attend in the future.
