Krauszer's Food Store — Local services in New Haven

Always changing the price on my sandwich, I order the same thing to a tee every time usually it's 4.99 then sometimes they charge 5.99 back and forth whoever is at the register.. Then today I show up ..giving them one more shot and they tell me I have to wait 20 mins to prep. Prep what? The meat is cut when they make it. It's a toasted turkey and mayo. Then I've asked for the managers phone number twice and they won't give it to me. It's sad because the sandwiches are good...when the guy is making them..the girl not so much she doesn't pay attention to what your saying. She messed up 2 of my sandwichs. This place is shady it's sad. The BBB needs to check this place out.

So I took a couple months off from this place. The top was 3 months ago and what I am posting now is from 4/29/22. Two new employees and the sandwich was awful, except this time it barley had anything on it. Usually they pack a ton of turkey and always boar heads but tonight if you look at the image it's like one and a half pieces of turkey..and once again they change the prices whenever they feel like with whatever sandwich. This time is was 5.99 and let me tell you it wasn't even worth that! Finished with this joint, take my hard earned cash elsewhere. I recommend u do the same unless you like to be a happy customer...

Ever since Eddy left the sandwiches are terrible, yesterday was the last time I’m wasting my money here, they put like 5 slices of ham , on a ham and cheese sub and then stuff it with lettuce and tomato to make it look like it’s halfway decent.
