Yale University Golf Course — Local services in New Haven

The design and layout of this golf course is amazing. If you hit the ball well, then you can score well. But make sure you don’t get into some of the green side bunkers or you will have to hike out!

The maintenance is just horrible right now. The course will close this fall for a major restoration. It is well needed. The greens did not winter well and were half dead and very bumpy.

The staff was super nice. They went way out of their way to make us feel welcome.

I went expecting a top 50 public course and found the design was a top 50 but the quality was not even close.
