Nice hike on Kidder Mountain today. Small parking lot off of Rte 124 that holds maybe 6-8 cars. Trail was well marked from bottom to top and easy to follow. It's a bit muddy in places, but there's been so much rain lately. Trail is generally narrow with small rocks and roots at times. As you approach the summit, the trees get noticeably smaller, and the rocks become bigger. At the top are a few trees adorned with holiday ornaments, which was a nice surprise. Ample views looking to the south with nice areas to sit and enjoy a picnic lunch. If in the area, it's worth the hike.

Don’t follow GPS brings you to a private road. Trailhead is about a mile before the pin. Parking lot very small and kind of hidden from overgrowth. Trail starts off yellow stick to the left when you come to a cross point, keep going all the way until you finally come out to the blue marker where it says kinder mountain. Nice easy hike. Good place for biking, taking the dog out out or just going for a quick nature walk.

I hiked to the top of this mini mountain with my family back in October. We are a physically fit bunch, and this walk was no problem at all. The view from the top was beautiful, especially with the autumn leaves changing color. The day was exceptionally clear, and we could see Boston in the distance. I recommend this scenic trail for anyone with a...
