To be objective, I think if your kid is in a wheelchair and is athletically inclined, this would be a good fit. However, if your kid is in a wheelchair and is NOT athletically inclined, I would not expect much from this program. I was told by the director that 'another socially inept child would be invited to an outing so my daughter might have someone to talk to because you can't correct people's behavior'. My daughter is friendly and sweet but not athletically inclined. I was hoping for a camaraderie but one will not...

LWSRA was great when they first opened their doors. Sadly it has been years since my daughter has been eligible for any programs. LWSRA refuses to accommodate her disability so she can attend programs. There are many special needs individuals who are unable to use a program that is paid for by our taxes and is supposed to be an inclusive environment.
