Goatboy Soaps, LLC. — Local services in New Milford

I bought my first Goatboy Soaps at the Harwinton Fair a number of years ago and I've been buying online ever since. Their site is easy to navigate, functions well, and orders arrive promptly. They have a wide variety of pleasing scents, including limited edition seasonals, to satisfy all people.

The soaps remains pliable and useable to the very end, as opposed to splintering into a dozen useless bits. The bars are a standard size and rectangular shape, and fit into a typical travel soap case, which is a must for people like me who travel for a living.

They offer a military and first responder discount, verified and useable on their site through GovX. Thank you, Lisa and Rick, from this Navy retiree!

What finally prompted me to write this review, though, was yet another friendly and efficient customer service interaction with Lisa. Know that your questions or (rare) issues will be handled quickly and to your satisfaction. I just had my first minor order hiccup and Lisa had it fixed within SIX MINUTES of me sending an email! It's like dealing with nice neighbors. Keep up the great work, Goatboy Soaps!

As a child my family used to go to a farmers market where my dad LOVED to buy Goatboy Soaps. He truly thought these were the greatest soaps on the planet. Over 10 years had passed since we had gotten the soap, and my dad still mentioned how great the soap was on a regular basis. I was ecstatic to find I could have the soap shipped to me and ordered some bars of soap for him for Christmas. When the shipment got lost/stolen, I was so sad. I sent a message to the company at around 9 p.m., not even a couple hours later I got a message that I was receiving more soap. I l♡ve, l♡ve, l♡ve Goatboy Soaps!!!

Their soaps engage all my senses, which is a big part of why I love them! The large variety of scents are AMAZING, the colors are AWESOME, the soap FEELS great when you use it, and buying their soap supports a lovely, local family and farm, which is really important to me.

I love seeing, smelling, and buying new scents when they come out, like the "Midnight Mechanic" soap, which is blended with a local coffee roaster's coffee beans so my purchase supports TWO local businesses! A win-win!

Plus they are heavily involved with their community, which I love, and put on the annual "GOAT Days" festival, complete with the cutest baby goats you ever did...
