I saw them!!! "No maybe it's this or that." I saw something I could not truly explain. The air was thin and a clear night. The stars and constellations fill the sky! But looking towards Brown mountain at the overlook, and I turn to the other side of the road (where table rock etc are) and i caught the tail end of what i can only say looked like red orbs flying in a formation. The first burst was 4-5 i caught and saw last 2. Then we kept watching and a flood of about 10-15 came out from same area we then relocated to the side of the road where you can see table rock and the other mountains and within 15 minutes a whole slew (of 20+?) came out from below it. They were red and an spherical shape almost a circular buy not quite and this time they went into an arc and disappeared like the others as they reached a little above the peak. I believe what we saw was extraterrestrial, the fact that they look like they shot out of a cave or the ground. All happened late and at the other side when the veil was thin. I think there may be a portal or the eye couldn't keep up and saw the objects a few mili-seconds behind where they disappeared. I don't know but definitely the most action i have ever seen up here instead of looking at Brown mountain look due South and you'll see em. Maybe....
Read moreI posted up here for well over six hours and was rewarded with seeing the lights! Hands down the coolest, yet creepiest thing I've ever witnessed. I was expecting ghostly vibes, butt felt Stephen King's dreamcatcher vibes instead. Very alien. Very cool tho. Did not want to leave my vehicle. At one point I started to roll the window down-all-the-way 🤯, trying to relax. When the window reached the halfway mark a shadow caught my attention, normal for the most part with the passing headlights, however, this shadow looked likea headless man. I engaged rolling the window back up as It seemingly appeared by my window and freaked the crap outta me. It sprinted past and looked like it collided with a semi truck at the same time that truck burst into flames. I'll eventually post the after video as "evidence". Which is just a buncha firetrucks and old cranky men that were not as excited to see me as I was to see them. Timed very curiously tho. Stayed several hours after that to see the lights. Around 2am. They don't show up on a regular phone...
Read moreClimbing up the switchbacks through the North Carolina mountains, there is a sign to let you know that there is a scenic spot ahead. Take a few minutes and pull over for the view.
This is the view of Brown Mountain in the distance, which is an elevation of 2725 feet and you're standing at 2760 feet. That's not tremendous, but it's still an awesomely beautiful view.
Captions point out the various geographic features and some of the signs that are visible from here on a clear day. It was pretty clear today so I could see Table Rock Mountain and across to Chestnut Mountain.
A decent amount of parking and a couple of trash bins here. Please...
