Dollar General — Local services in Newman

It's the local everything store. The town is much richer for it. It makes a big difference being able to get something all day, every day right here in town. It isn't perfect, but the staff is friendly and the store is mostly clean and uncluttered. There are always large stock carts of goods in the aisles which is unfortunate, but nobody is perfect. They are generally just staffed enough to get by and never enough to get anything quite done, hence the carts.

Outside of that, the store is generally well stocked and is packed with a wide variety of goods. It isn't exactly Walmart, but it doesn't need to be.

I am there shopping multiple times every week, saving 30 miles of gas with every trip.
