I stopped by looking for very specific bolts and I was very impressed with the large selection of sizes and grades. David, Sharon, and Margaret all helped me at some point throughout the time I spent in the store. David even went as far as letting me use his calipers to make sure I was getting the exact size I needed. I was blown away with the amazing customer service that I received. I have never got even close to this level of service at the local larger stores and that made me really appreciate this family run business. The bolts and nuts would have cost me over $80 from the manufacturer and I got a better quality from Ace for $20. I highly recommend stopping in because they have a great selection to be a smaller store and it feels good supporting these kind of businesses in the community where the employees actually care about you. I visited this location this afternoon, but didn't realize they close at 3. Unfortunately, I pulled up at 3:02. I saw the lights were out and saw the closed signs. I then noticed the hours of operation. No big deal. I was about to leave when the gentleman who works there poked his head out the door, waved me down, and asked if I needed anything. Without my asking, he was kind enough to re-open the store and let me purchase my item. I was under no illusions that the store should open for me. After hours is after hours. I've been looking for a certain key for my trailer lock for a long time. This place finally had it. The owner took a lot of time hunting for this key. And I found the last one he had by accident. Although he had looked at it twice. He was very patient and cut the key for me. Hopefully he has ordered more because I need to get a couple more cut. I was very disappointed that they sell this lock at one of the big box stores but don't keep blank keys for it. This is why I hope privately owned stores like this never go out of business.
