The people at this hospital are absolute heroic angels. They saved the life of my wife Dana on the night of January 2nd 2018 and into the 3rd. Not an ordinary life saving event. My wife collapsed within seconds of arriving in the emergency room.

My wife had a fatal heart attack. The amazing people at North Country Hospital never gave up. They worked for 55 minutes with CPR and chest compressions before Dana’s heart beat again.

Because of a freak unpredicted snow storm that night. It took several hours before the UVM Med Center crew could arrive by road to stabilize and transport Dana to Burlington. During this nearly 5 hour time period I witnessed the incredibly gifted lifesavers tirelessly work to save my wife from certain death. 5 times they had to restart Dana’s heart with shocks.

A few hours later UVM surgeons cleared and reopened a major artery in Dana’s heart. The road ahead is going to have challenges and life changing adjustments. But if not for the angels at North Country Hospital. There would be no road ahead.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Every person I encountered there on this evening were professional compassionate and incredibly dedicated professionals with amazing abilities to remain calm under the most stressful circumstances. And they save lives! They all deserve 6 figures Immediately. The...

I wish these reviews stars when in the negative.....last time I was there Dr on duty was kind....But I went to get in my vehicle and my knee popped bad...instant pain in whole leg.. couldn't even walk..but I'm stubborn bout going to that place because it has had a bad rep for years. But in morning family wanted me to have it checked..and ended up with the one doctor that I prayed would not be on duty...took x-ray, no broken bones....duh I knew that..I'm sure there is a tear(whether it is a acl, meniscus, etc) We don't order MRI in ER. You'll have to call your primary, course this Doctor been there since I was a kid and now I'm in my 50's..jeez just retire...never heard good things bout him.... all other calls I made to surrounding orthopedic and my primary said they never heard such a thing, that of course ER can order MRI if needed ...I believe I had just been discriminated ...so I had ER in other hospital tell me to come see them....

Avoid this hospital. If you only go to this hospital 4 times( as I have) they will send you multiple bills or statements every single month. I called several weeks ago asking why they keep sending bills/statements and the lady over the phone told me they are going to stop sending me bills/statements every month. 2/3 months later, I am still getting them. I am broke and have been broke for a while, living paycheck to paycheck. My first visit I had to pay over 2500. Which I did not have the money for at all, so I had to start payment monthly payments for 35 months! Then add on 3 more visits and I have possibly well over 3k. You being put on a payment plan doesn't help you in the long run when they send you reminders that whatever you still owe will go into a collection agency. I'm sorry I'm broke and that I can only pay for one at a time. Horrible manners. Horrible service as well. Avoid this hospital at all costs. Go to Saint...
