The Plow — Local services in Newport

This antique mall is what other antique malls should aspire to be. I am a huge antique mall snob, and I was blown away by this place. Rock Hill has needed a treasure like this! First of all, they play the best music. Music that gets you into the eras of all the vintage treasures. I heard everything from Jerry Lee Lewis, to Elvis, to the Platters. It was perfect and calming to listen to. Secondly, THE AIR CONDITIONING IS AMAZING! The comfortable temperature allows you to actually enjoy yourself comfortable while you treasure find. Thirdly, the aisles are spaced out. I was able to keep my son in his stroller and not worry about knocking anything down. Lastly, everything is presented beautifully and organized. I didn’t feel overwhelmed. I can’t tell you how anxiety inducing it is to go to an antique mall that isn’t organized and full of chaos. The Plow has organization mastered. Oh I forgot! Would definitely give 0 stars if I could. We drove here from Columbia. My husband and I both collect and sell antiques. Extremely rude staff. Refused to contact seller we were requesting to bundle with. Told us it was fine with her if we decided we didn't did not wish to come back to purchase with The Plow in the future. Would go to ANY other antique store in Rock Hill or Charlotte. Buyer beware. Choose a professional shop with customer service. The Plow just lost a significant amount of money. The Plow is an amazing and beautiful place to shop vintage, antique, and home decor. The vendors booths are all so beautiful and it's hard not to leave with so many unique and beautiful things.
