Absolutely..... Cannot Say Enough About The View Up Here. I Was Blown Away By It's Spectacular Beauty. This Hidden Gem 💎 is worth the Drive Just to View. The Golfing Looks Fantastic Too... However its Beauty is So Worth the Drive. I've been to Alot of What Maine has to Offer as Far as Beautiful Goes, Whether its On the Appalachian Trail Miles and Miles from Anywhere, to A Ride to Rangeley or the Coast of Maine. Beautiful Indeed... They all can touch your Heart.. Those Views that Reaches inside You and Can Just make You Appreciate Our Earth, The Environment We Live in., and We Should Appreciate it .. as I believe we fall out of touch with these Simple but Amazing things that surround us daily... When we lose that sense of Wonder I feel We All need to go find that place that Says Yes... This is Amazing, Beautiful... You just get Ahh Struck. The Sunday River Golf Course is it.. Its definitely The Best Kept Open Secret, Hidden in plain sight kinda thing Out There... Here in Western Maine Anyways, Perhaps The Whole State..?? ( Best Place to Drive too Anyways) Go visit it... You Will Not Be Let Down. Im sure the Golfing ⛳ is A++ Too. And Most Importantly The Guy Working Up there.. What a Great Guy. His Name is Tom. And He is Just A+ Also. A Great Guy... He's Perfect for the Job he has and He has an Office like Anyone Could only Dream of Having. Thanks Tom for what you did for me... It Truly Meant and Means Alot My Friend. You Are The Best. So on top of The Breath Taking View... (That you just can't take in, In a short period of time .. Too much to truly absorb and Appreciate. Thank You Sunday River and Thank You Tom. Your the Best Man. I'll be back up sometime and I Truly Appreciate the Invitation...

Don’t waste your time or money. Course has nice views, that’s about it. Staff is incredibly disrespectful, and it nearly ruined a fun day golfing. The ranger Jeff wasn’t even at the first tee when we were heading there then he rolls over and yells at us we’re supposed to be teeing off. Maybe you should be at your post on time bud. Then he comes at us on 17 telling us we’re too slow and need to hurry up and that we’re on pace for 5 hour round. Claims the group in from is already on 18. No duh, there was 3 of them and 4 of us of course they were ahead. Finished the round in 4:38, I timed it on my watch, probably less since according to Jeff we were late to the tee. Maybe you shouldn’t have 10 minute windows and it wouldn’t be so cramped. Or only half staff on your crew to keep the course looking good. Wonder why they can’t get employees. There’s plenty of nicer places to play in Maine, spend your money on something that isn’t corporate trash. And if you do go, and are feeling generous, buy Jeff a math lesson. Cart girl and the younger guy at the check in were nice though. I’d give it a zero if it...

I played here August 31st and let me tell you it was a roller coaster of emotions. We were waiting about 5 minutes per hole to tee off, which for us was no big deal. The course was busy and we drove 2.5 hours. We were in no rush. We unfortunately had a group of A$$holes behind us saying we needed to speed up play which would have involved hitting into the group in front of us. BUTTTT, a big but here. We called the staff and they handle the situation extremely well. Gave us some free wings and were very apologetic as well as speaking with the group ahead of us. Obviously they can’t control everyone on the course. I was very pleased with how they handled the situation. The views were incredibly stunning. Big turn off and the only thing holding me off from a 5 is the greens. Being Blunt they were by far the most terrible greens I’ve played on all year. If you’re going to charge $100 + to play your course the greens need to be in immaculate condition. They were not. Overall good experience and will definitely be back, just hope the greens...
