Update from August 2021: Thomas Edison completed a big project for us that included installing a whole-house generator, relocating the aerial service attachment, installing Ethernet cables, bringing several power cables and light fixture installations up to code. I can't say enough postive about Frank, Ron, Samantha and Shelby. They kept in constant communication. Additionally, Steve, their VP, called me everyday anyone was on site to see how things were going. Thank you Thomas Edison!

I needed a series of electrical repair and upgrade quotes for a house purchase. This was a time sensitive request. Thomas Edison Electric returned my initial call within 15 minutes and had someone assigned for the next day. I met the electrician, Frank, at the house, exactly at the agreed-to time. He and I went through the house, discussed my requests and collaborated on the best approaches. Some of the requests were for complex work. Frank then returned to his truck and spent a few minutes making some phone calls and then returned with quotes, including two options for the most complex aspect, relocating the service entrance. Josh was great to work with. He was professional in all the work that he did. He was very patient dealing with some old wires in my old house. I procrastinated on the long list of fixes on the electrical system in my house for a long time and I decided to get it done now rather than later. I gave him a long list of things that I wanted to be done and he did all of them! I was impressed with his professional work. He did a full investigation on the source of the problem with flickering lights and occasional outages on one line. He did not do it once but did it several more times to make sure that the cause of the problem was not on my end. (It turned out that the problem was on PPL's end. I called PPL. A crew from PPL found a loose connection on one wire and replaced it.) He did a few things to make my house safer. He was able to upgrade one outlet that did not have ground to a new GFCI. He replaced several outlets with GFCI for safety reasons. I was glad that he replaced the old ceiling light in the kitchen with a new LED ceiling light. I would go on but that should be sufficient. Crazy pricing, charges 4000 for an electrical panel that can be purchased at home Depot for 197. Labor is in that 4000, but it's a 3 hour job tops, and that's for the whole job that's dispersed in other over pricing. But I pin pointed that for a direct comparison. I'd suggest checking other company's first as this one also charges $50 just to give a quote edit: they called me within 2 hours of me posting this review to try to make me change the review as you can see I did not change it I will add on to it though they have offered me a refund of that $50 charge to come out and give me the estimate which I have accepted and it has since been in my bank account The problem is to receive that they wanted me to remove or change this review which I will not do just because they have a high rating doesn't always mean the truth when a company harasses people to change since I haven't changed it in about 2 weeks since I'm calling they have been messaging me once a week to put this change in so I will let anyone who reads this know what I have been through.
