โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ Jurassic Park Vibes & Summer Feels at Emerald Coast Nursery ๐ฆ๐ด๐
My husband Craig and I popped over to Emerald Coast Nursery this past Saturday after being referred by The Alice, a โจstunningโจ venue Iโm working with that launches in January 2026. Their landscape? ABSOLUTELY MAGICAL ๐ฟ๐ซ Lush, wild, tropical... exactly what I want for my backyard. Think Jurassic Park, minus the raptors (hopefully ๐ ).
Once we found out Emerald Coast Nursery was behind that masterpiece, we made a beeline there ๐๐จโฆ and yโall, we showed up right in time for their Welcome to Summer bash ๐๐ญ๐ง
๐ญ Grilled hot dogs ๐ง Cold waters and soda ๐ถ Chill tunes ๐ผ Gorgeous plants ๐ Even better people
AND I WON A RAFFLE!! ๐๐๏ธ The potted arrangement in the photo? She came home with us ๐๐บ And those three trailing potato vines in it? Just chef's kiss ๐ฉโ๐ณ๐ชดโtheyโre bold, bright, and perfect for hanging under our pergola.
Inside the house, we also grabbed two beautiful snake plants ๐๐ฟ because this plant mama is trying to level up her air quality game too. Did you know snake plants are natural air purifiers? They absorb toxins and release oxygen at night, making them one of the best plants for bedrooms and indoor spaces ๐ฌ๏ธโจ Highly recommend you pick one (or five) up from Emerald Coast Nursery. Your lungs will thank you ๐๐
Then we met Jon, their landscape designer and artist (truly ๐๐พ). I showed him pics of our yard and said just two words: Jurassic Park ๐ฆ๐ Jon: โSay less.โ ๐ช๐ป๐ณ He got it instantly. Now weโre working with him to turn our backyard into an exotic Florida escape that would make a T-Rex feel right at home.
๐ The staff? Top-notch. ๐ฌ The vibes? Relaxed and REAL. ๐ฑ The knowledge? Deep-rooted. ๐ซถ๐พ The love? You feel it the moment you walk in.
No pushy sales. No awkward pressure. Just good humans who love plants and treat you like family from the jump ๐ฉโ๐พ๐ป๐จโ๐พ
Canโt wait to go back (with Craigโs truck ๐ป next time ๐). Thank you, Emerald Coast Nursery, for the warm welcome, the raffle win, and all the inspiration. Yโall are amazing ๐
Will definitely be adding more photos soon ๐ธโจ Stay tuned! ๐

ย ย ย Read more3 years ago we moved to a gated community called Sandestin and decided to have a major landscaping project done to replace a 40 year old over grown yard plantings and a dilapidated wood decking all of which would eventually cost $ 40,000. Leslie, owner of Emerald Coast nursery, was highly recommended by our landscape architect and after interviewing her, hired her on the spot. This project required removal of several magnolia trees, very tall azealia that almost obscured the house on 3 sides and one elm tree, , as well as grading, instillation of paving stone decking, a new irrigation system, lighting and selection and planting of 9- 10 palm trees ( one included a 2 1/2 story tall Canary/Sylvester monster palm) and multiple camellias , ornamental grasses, several Mediterranean fan palms and resodding with a beautiful zoysia grass. Leslie hired all the subcontractors for the hardscape and irrigation install and then her company provided all the plantings (some of which were trucked in from her source in south Florida) and planted all these items. She was on our property every day supervising her men as well as the subcontractors and making sure that every plant was where it was designed to, at times amending the plans where needed. The end result was perfection! 3 years later it looks beautiful and we continue to get such kind and enthusiastic compliments about our yard. Some who have lived in our area for many years asked if we had the house painted as it now looked so wonderful. Well we hadn't, but they were now actually seeing the home that was now enhanced by the new landscape We love our outside almost more than the house itself and spend our time enjoying the scenery as never before. ย ย ย Read moreI was sold a lime tree when I thought I was buying a lemon tree. It was obvious once the fruit started to bear they are lines not lemons. I called and talked with a lady (not Leslie) and she said Leslie the owner would not take my call and told her to handle it. I called back and asked for LESLIE. LESLIE said I needed my receipt to prove it was lemon on the receipt. I never thought a year later when the tree had fruit for the first time I would need the receipt! However LESLIE keeps a copy but she REFUSED to pull her copy and said โif you want to come and go through all the boxes of invoices you canโ. What business would let a customer rummage through all their receipts with credit card info on it!!! LESLIE was rude, not helpful, kept trying to get off the phone, defiant as though it was my fault. And she claims only John who is only there on Saturday would know the difference. She claims she doesnโt know about those types of things! Sheโs the owner with a degree(look her up!) and been in business all these years! Seriously! I will never buy anything from her again and I caution you to know what you buy and to keep your receipt forever! Every time I mention LESLIE to anyone I get โsheโs never helpful and sheโs rudeโ -so true. Iโd give her 100 negative stars but the least amount is one unfortunately! Does this look...
