Dollar General — Local services in Niederwald

I would like to say how much I love Dollar General stores for my quick convenient needs, but unfortunately I go in with a certain lowered expectation of quality service. Today changed my perspective.

I was shopping around and started looking for the greeting cards section. Almost immediately someone asked if I needed help and then went and grabbed a basket for me to put my 6 items I barely held with my hands. She guided me to the card isle and told me to have a great day. This experience is what customer service was all about. I pass several dollar stores on my way home, but this one will now be my only one.

The persons name was Tabatha and she works at the 3100 Windy Hill Road in Buda, TX (78610) location. I made sure to go back in the store and ask for her name. So many people tend to report only the negative experiences and forget to share the wonderful ones.

Please do anything you can to tell her what a great asset she is to the store. If you need my transaction number for proof of my visit let me know.

Keep an eye out for costs. Shelve will advertise a cost while at check out it’s different- higher actually. I’ve been twice to that store in the past two weeks and have noticed on my receipt the total cost differs from the advertised price. Male, Short, young, Hispanic employee whom never wears his name tag and claims to be the manager is quite rude - so don’t bother seeking professional management. You’re best off contacting corporate. employee ensured my bag of chips was sealed after multiple unsealed chips he tried to ring up when i got home the bag he said was sealed was open. i called about 5 times to try and see if i could get a refund or come and exchange them but no one picked up and that was at 9:45pm. looked on google what time they closed said 11pm but when i arrived 15 past 10 they seemed to be closed for a while. if workers are busy with a closing shift there need to be more workers to ensure that customers are being tended to if they...
