If delivering, don't be too early, they take pickups first. If picking up, be early, they'll take you right away. I believe they start taking trucks at 0700.
Always go to the staging area first. You can find it on the map. It's down the road going between the two compounds. Park, check in and wait for your text message.
Read ALL the signs.
When exiting "Gate 4" area, you won't come back around to the same shack. You'll go behind the building to the other shack. There is a sign that says exit.
The people are nice and patient and all carry firearms. (Welcome to Texas) To enter the property, you have to turn yours in at the guard shack and retrieve it after your pickup/delivery. You also have to sign a waiver. It says if you break something, you're responsible. Not the broker or your company, YOU. No pictures, no cellphones out while walking around the compound.
You have to accept the weight before getting loaded. It's good to know your trucks' weight, but they are good about not overloading. There is no scale on property, and you can not bring it back once you leave with it. You're probably fine, but if you have an older truck with a fifth wheel that only goes so far forward, it's good to know what weight you can accept. They load it for California standards from what I can tell. To the front, clearing the 10' mark.
The loading/unloading is quick. The longest wait is deliveries arriving early. The shortest is pickups arriving early.
You can park here overnight if you arrive the day before. If for some reason this changes, the on/off ramps on Moore rd. are huge and can accommodate several trucks.
Otherwise, there is a Valero about 10 minutes north that usually has parking available if you show up before sunset or soon after.
If no parking on site, you can always just back into the space on the off ramp rather than pay the toll to go up and back down. It's Texas, nobody cares so long as you're polite and not in the way. Just wait for a clearing in traffic and turn...

they tell you wrong because FOR SEMI-TRUCKS to get to Gate #4 is the third entrance on the Left …. Next thing you know Security Guard is ALL MAD and don’t even let you talk to at least say in you defense that you were told wrong by his co-worker …. He Makes you feel that you are stupid or some for just doing what his co-worker told you to do …. I was gonna back up and go to the next entrance but he wave his hand to let you in and then just don’t even lets you talk ….. i suggest the Security Guard do his job more efficiently by telling his Co-worker quit saying the second left but instead the third left or just tell his Co- workers to quit giving truckers wrong directions and stay quiet - do NOT give directions if not sure but instead let truckers do what they do , get there safely … and Solve the Problem instead of doing that smart talk and trying to look like Einstein…. EVERYTHING ELSE IS GREAT AT THIS PLACE …. NICE PLACE AND EVERYBODY...
Read moreHorrible security supervisor has no interpersonal skills, making it obvious he was an ex-LEO and failed at it probably because he was power hungry. The one with no uniform and drives a cart. They have you sign a confidentiality agreement as if they're making something special. They also have a document you signed that you the individual are responsible not your company for any incidences. Their receiving area is tight almost bent the cab extender. There was also vehicles and equipment in the way which made it tighter. Told the company I'm not coming back here no matter what. And on a personal side I'm not going to buy their products anymore and I don't care if they don't care if one person stops consuming their products. One lost customer is good enough for me. You don't get treated like this at MolsonCoors, Shiner nor Anheuser-Busch. I left here so mad I nearly blacked out on the road an hour and half later. I've never been so mad and I'm rare...
