Read moreI ordered a computer with a touchscreen that he recommended. His store was closed when I went to pick it up bc he forgot the appointment. I called and he asked if I could come back in an hour. I said no bc it would be another 45 minute outing on a Saturday and I was working. He had someone drop it off to me. I asked to confirm it was a touchscreen and she said she didnât have time to look at it bc she had another appointment but that yes it was a touchscreen. Turned out to not have a touchscreen and not match the invoice of the computer he sold me. So I called him back and he eventually agreed that it was the wrong computer and that he would have to order another one but throws in that I asked for a cheap model as though itâs my fault he screwed up the order and I should be grateful for what I got. So I would have to make another trip out there and set it up all over again. I wasnât understanding what he was trying to say about switching the hard drives and he was getting dismissive and impatient explaining it. And Iâm annoyed, annoyed that he forgot our appointment, that his coworker couldnât find the time to verify the purchase was correct, that I would have to come back yet again, and that he was becoming impatient with my lack of tech knowledge. And Iâm thinking you should be happy with people like me bc you charge $125 an hour for tech support (thatâs a $243,000 salary) and our ignorance is your gain. Anyway I got annoyed when he brought up the cost difference, donât know what he was saying and I just shut down and said forget it, Iâll reflect it all in my review. And I hung up. He left me a voice message which ended with âwhy would I even want to help you and you can put that in your reviewâ, so...
Read moreI called today to have a laptop looked at and was told to bring it in. I used Google to provide the address and drove in. No sign on the building and a locked door. I called and was informed that they had moved. I asked where and he told me to use Google to navigate to the new address thatâs on their website - not Google. I did and found the building, parked in the lot facing the street with no visible sign as to where in the building (with many entrances) and if they were even in this building. I looked back on their website and it said that they moved with the new address, but no suite number. I got out and walked around the building and saw a small sign above a side door. I walked up and found them. Someone came out and greeted me and I suggested that if thereâs a known problem with Google and their recent move, they should tell people on the phone. He got indignant and said itâs on their website and that Google is the problem. Not sure why he got so upset. I then pointed out that the banner at the top of their website has the building address, but no suite number and upon arrival, no obvious sign. He got very upset and told me that he didnât need me to tell him how to run his business. I took my laptop and left while he followed me shouting obscenities. Deeply disturbing. Stay away from...
