Stopped in to take advantage of a sale while I visit from out of town and encountered the worst store manager-if I could rate this store a zero, I would.
I overheard him telling an employee to scan my item, then the coupon, then item, then coupon, etc. (so I would have to pay MORE out of pocket because it works out better for the store that way)
This manager, Philip, INTENTIONALLY scanned my coupons out of order so he could refuse my $5/$25 store coupon. Then when I confronted him about it, he argued with me for five minutes, refused to call customer service despite several requests on my part and basically told me I'm SOL.
Clearly, in all his "managerial wisdom", he failed to realize that his store and company make an additional $.08 for each coupon redeemed there, paid by the manufacturer. I refuse to be bullied by a rude employee and miss out on a deal because they have a prejudice against couponers.
This is why I shop Target, CVS and walgreens. Take your money there folks, it will be met with appreciation and an attitude of service. That is what the staff is paid for, right?
Called corporate to file a formal complaint and will be calling back Monday...

Read moreThey go through employees like clockwork, store is always out of stock on things I used to buy here regularly like excedrin migraine store brand and nexium store brand yet there are crates everywhere that need stocked, seems like once they are caught up employees quit and it's a mess again.
