As far as breathtaking mountaintop scenery goes in The Berkshires, there is none other among the likes of what can be found hidden in the forest just a short walking-distance from the roadside of the Mohawk Trail. Aside from the added-bonus of a stellar lighthouse that stands atop Mount Greylock—the apex of Massachusetts—there "isn't much to see" when looking into the distance from the highest peak in the state. In fact, due to poor overgrowth-maintenance in just the last decade, even driving up to the top of Mt. Greylock is not as fantastic as it once was, not even to mention what the view from the top USED to look like....
