More detail: I had a fantastic shopping experience with Country Lane Furniture. I was searching for a bunk bed for my children and was displeased with the options at local stores. A family member referred me to Country Lane and after reviewing their website I solicited some pricing information and received a quick, courteous reply to all my questions. Following that, I decided to make the 2 hour drive to their location to view the pieces in person and was not disappointed! The quality and selection of pieces in their showroom was remarkable (we will very likely return for other pieces in the future). We ultimately selected a bunk bed and were able to customize everything - the material, stain, and options. The quality of the pieces were excellent, far better than anything else I had seen locally. Pricing was consistent with other comparable locations I had investigated locally, which was surprising given the level of customization they offered. Based on the quality of the pieces and the customization, the pricing was very reasonable. They were able to manufacture and deliver the pieces in less than half the lead time they quoted, which was unexpected and a pleasant surprise. Their team delivered and assembled the bed to my home and completed the work in under an hour. Their team meticulously packaged the parts and everything was delivered and assembled in perfect condition. (I very carefully checked as delivery is a common point of error resulting in damage.) The pieces were perfect, no issues or damage at all. No cardboard was used. Every piece was carefully packaged in multiple packing blankets, wrapped, and stowed safely for transit. Their delivery staff was very professional, friendly, and respectful of our home. My boys love their new bed. It is a beautiful piece and rock solid. (Two grown men have a hard time moving it and I have no concerns that the boys will be able to hurt themselves due to a failure of this piece.) Everything about the experience with Country Lane was great and the next time I’m serious about owning quality furniture, purchased from friendly professionals, I’ll be making another drive...

I wanted to order a child's table and chairs set that would be appropriate for a very little girl as she grew up through the years while also being lovely in the corner of our son and daughter-in-laws' family room. Was all of that possible in one table and chair set? I found Country Lane's website, and was so struck and impressed by the quality and beauty of their construction, staining and finishing work for all of their furniture--with not a single shortcut for their children's furniture. In fact, I read how they add special, additional coats of a special varnish-like substance to protect the children's wood tables and chairs against water and craft activities. Perfect for the tea parties and crafts that our granddaughter loves to do...and will be doing through the years... So I called Country Lane all the way from Oregon, and the young woman who answered the phone then spent generous amounts of time with me over a couple of phone conversations helping me to choose the best possible wood, style and stain for the uses and setting for this children's table and chair set. They then committed to making sure it was all done by Christmas and Country Lane kept their word. And then our son drove to the Annville workshop, and was truly touched and impressed when he picked up the table and chairs set a few days before Christmas. He was calling and texting me about how beautiful and well made it all was, and how it would last through all the years, and into the next generation ! He was truly touched by our investment. And come Christmas morning, our little granddaughter and grandson were both thrilled... And when my husband and I arrived in Hershey a few weeks later, we saw it all for ourselves, and were deeply grateful for such beautiful craftsmanship, for all the help in choosing the perfect choice for their home (out of so many lovely woods, styles and stain possibilities)---and for all the warm and gracious service that made it...

When we were looking for bedroom furniture, we didn't want to go to the 'box' furniture stores. We wanted well-made furniture. I stumbled upon Country Lane Furniture on the web. We made a trip to the store (about an hour). Their store is amazing, with furniture for every room to pick from. The sales staff is very knowledge of each piece of furniture and fabric. We told the sales girl what we were looking for, she showed us the bedroom furniture area, how we can mix and match wood types and stains, and let us be. There was no pressure at all. She checked on us a few times to see if we had any questions. We found the set we liked and wanted to add some storage drawers on the bottom of the bed. No problem. It was great how we could customize the furniture all the way down to the drawer pulls. We purchased a bed, two side tables, an armoire, full length mirror and blanket chest. Since each piece is handmade, we knew we would have to wait about 8 weeks or so for the delivery, which was fine by us. Our furniture was delivered by Country Lane Furniture employees in a company truck. The delivery guys were very professional, courteous and extremely careful with each piece. Our new bedroom furniture is beautiful!! We were blown away with the quality of each piece and how well-made the furniture was. Needless to say, we have gone back and purchased living room furniture. If you are looking for high quality, well made furniture, Country Lane Furniture is the place to go. You will not be...
