I loved this place. Did visit a place like this over 12 years ago. Was looking forward to going again and what luck to see this one on way back to Newport on 101 from visiting friends in AZ. Restroom was very pleasant and smelled good probably due to the myrtle wood. Excellent variety of items and I thought that the prices were reasonable. I picked up a few more pieces and was pleased to get them to go with my others. Plan on going back to Crescent City and on return will stop again for sure. Myrtlewood is my go-to camping spot, and I've been coming back for a decade. The staff is consistently amazing—super friendly and always willing to help. A big part of the appeal is the camping setup: being on asphalt instead of a dusty dirt lot is a game-changer. There are also plenty of port-a-potties available, which is very convenient.

This place has lots of very cool pieces made from various types of wood, quite a selection and absolutely worth browsing. The only issue is the pricing of this stuff... I understand its made by hand (technically everything is...) and I've spent a few hours in a wood shop myself so I know what it takes to make things, but maybe you could explain to me why the pricing is so damn high? If you cut everything in half, I think you would be much closer to reasonable pricing, and you would probably sell more inventory....
