South Fork General Store — Local services in North Bend

I was absolutely shocked at how uncaring and hostile the clerk was toward me. If you are a veteran with a medical condition, they'll be sure to make you feel very unwelcome. If you have a medical condition which prevents you from wearing a mask, they won't make you aware of or offer an alternative to normal service, they'll just simply say, "get out now or I'm calling the cops!" If you say, "I have a medical exemption", they'll say "I don't care, get out!" This is how they treat veterans at South Fork General Store. If you feel like being singled out and mistreated for your medical condition, or you just feel the need to be verbally harassed by a store clerk, then this is the place for you. Old review: Overpriced and understocked. Stop at the exits before or after. I get convenience stores and all..... I have all been a patron to many small overpriced remote mountain stores. This one's location doest warrant the high prices when I have 8 other options within a couple of minutes...

Generally nice people in store. Beer is overpriced although there are some good cheap 24oz beers from Snoqualmie brewery. Food is overpriced. Small selection of food. Clerk asked me for ID before taking wallet out which is very rude. Give me a chance to pull out my ID voluntarily (which I always do) when buying a single beer I might add. Rude.
