I am new in town and I don’t live that far away from this store. As I was walking into the store, I received a call from my neighbor. I passed by two employees…not a hello or can I help you…nothing. I found what I needed and then went to the counter. Three employees walked by me like I didn’t exist. I stood at the ring up counter for some time, the employees continued to walk by me. Yes, I was still on the phone with my neighbor, but has anyone ever multitasked before? I was still not addressed. I asked if I could get some service and one of the employees said, well you are on your phone. Little did they know, I was there to inquire about a smoker, and small appliance and the item I had in my hand. I was going to purchase those items, but those employees chose for me. I went into Country Paint & Hardware to buy paint because I am redoing my bathroom. When I was looking at paint options, I became overwhelmed at all the options for the color white. Marcey, the paint specialist, was beyond amazing. Marcey took the time to explain all the different options that the shade of white has. I was very indecisive and Marcey spent over 30 minutes helping me and showing me different options based off of the idea I had in mind. She was phenomenal and the best person to see if you are planning on painting anything in your home! I also needed to buy new lightbulbs for my bathroom and there was the nicest gentleman that showed me so many options and explained how each one will give off different types of light. I frequent Country Paint and Hardware all of the time. The staff are like family. They are very attentive and offer expert advice on any number of projects that I am working on. More recently, I had a well pump issue. Working with my son, I was able to determine that the cause was the pump. I called them with the specs to make sure they had one, which they did. I sent my wife over to pick it up before closing so I could make the repair when I came home from work. Using the tool Earl put together for me 20 years ago, I changed the pump out in about 45 minutes. Several days later, they sent me a card thanking me for the purchase.
