Foss Park Golf Course — Local services in North Chicago

Too bad you can’t put zero stars. Absolutely do not go to this golf course. The golf course is pretty nice but the staff is awful. We showed up at 4:30 for twilight hour golf after nine holes we were told we had to bring the golf carts in after paying extra for a golf cart. I have played hundreds of rounds of golf at many different golf courses during twilight hours. Every single place that I have ever played you play as many holes as you can before it’s too dark to play. But evidently not today. Do not waste your time or your money playing at the scores. We were actually going to have a company outing at this course later on this year but not anymore I’ll go somewhere else. Oh and by the way our company employees about 400 people who play here on a regular basis...

I’ve never seen such a poorly managed golf course. I went on a Saturday at 1 pm, and they had ran out of golf carts. They only told me this after we purchased carts, and we had to wait 30 minutes to get one. The carts themselves were barely functioning as well. The range itself was closed because they either had no/low range balls or there was a private event. No worker seemed to know what was happening with the range. When we got to the course itself, the starter was smoking cigarettes and not checking times, barely caring. No one checked the course itself, causing many people to cross over to other holes and replay holes. Overall, not a good...

My friend and me went here at 3:45 PM on June 27 2021. We booked on The Golf Now app. The clubhouse was very unprofessional by not keeping track of golfers on the course and there was one giant family that kept handing off golf carts to each other. Also I can’t get my refund for $57 on the golf now app because the associate behind the counter never marked if I canceled or not which I did cancel. Pay the extra $50 to go to another course. Also the driving range ran out of golf balls? And there were 15 carts broken down? Poor...
