Gabby Market — Local services in North Franklin Township

I have moved to Washington PA, in close proximity to Gabby Market! Monday evening, I stopped in near closing to pick up a few groceries. Gabby Market was recommended to me by a few of my friends. I had no cash on me and my debit card to my credit Union was recently lost or stolen! I VERY politely asked the clerk if I could write a check! You was SO very rude and ignorant as she snapped “NO”!! I am 64 nearly 65 years of age, with three children and my ninth grandbaby on her way. I suppose they “assumed” I was trying to write a “bad” check!! I would definitely have given Gabby market very much business as I cook every day!! I will never step foot in there again and I will tell everyone who asks about my experience!!😊 Perhaps in the past, when older generations of the family owned it and ran it it may have been a good market. For (decades) I have driven past this small market. Today, however, I decided to stop to get some lunch. This store brought such nostalgia to me. Memories of places like this that no longer exist. It fills my heart with passion. I got a piece of fried fish and peirogies from the hot foods. The lady working the deli was so sweet and genuine. The young girl cashier was also genuinely sweet. This is what I miss most from past experiences... good folks delivering a good honest service amongst all the big business and corporate mayhem. little store absolutely packed with everything you need!! convenient location and ample amount of parking! extra friendly staff who are helpful and always kind! a lot of amish food on site-which easily translates to fresh and delicious! meat selection is GREAT- one of the only places we can find the most delicious steaks!! always having some sort of sale! if they don’t have it-you don’t need it! if you’re lucky to meet lynn-she’ll treat you right. love shopping local!! clean store! fruits, meat, baked goods, veggies, drinks, hot food, lottery, pumpkins and flowers and so so much more! you won’t regret...
