Kline Electric — Local services in North Heidelberg Township

What a great experience! I previously had an electrician do some things in my house for me. He overcharged me and did a very unprofessional shoddy job! I asked Kline Electric to come in and assess the situation for me. He confirmed what I thought, that the previous electrician took shortcuts and actually created fire hazards! Kline Electric corrected all the Shoddy work that the previous electrician performed. He then did a few more things for me ie.. ran some wiring for new Outlets, added some lighting, ran conduit outside and put Electric boxes in my yard, Plus a couple other things. All of his work was and is aesthetically pleasing to look at, and obviously done correctly! He even came in under what he estimated! I'm not sure if his costs were less or he just felt sorry for my puppy dog face and previous bad experience with the other electrician! Lol ... also, I have recommended him to a few of my friends whom he has subsequently done work for. Every one of them is so happy and can't thank me enough for finding him for them! Very unprofessional. Gave me a general quote over the phone to connect a jacuzzi. Upon being at my house prior to the work and then twice at my house to do the work, Tyler never informed me that the estimate he initially gave was going to change as more work was involved. I was home everytime he was there working and he never informed me that it would be more. The work was finished on December 22nd and I received an invoice that evening saying it was due now.

The next day I questioned why the amount had doubled. He proceeded to call me, text me as we were in a holiday weekend. I proceeded to notify him this morning that I would send a check and where to send it. He proceeds to say he's in my area and will stop by. My wife and sons come home today at 4pm to find the owner standing on my front porch demanding payment. In my opinion, this is not good business. Quoting someone $1600 and then billing them $3153 with no warning and showing up on my porch after a holiday and all 3 days later demanding payment is unprofessional.. We had a breaker go out suddenly and we couldn't get it to reset. A friend suggested we contact Kline Electric, and we are SO happy we did! Not only was Tyler quick to call back, he was quick to show up! He was extremely knowledgeable on where to look for the issue & fixed everything on the spot. And the cost was very fair.
