Well..where to start....we purchased new cabinets and cou ter tops from Baileys. They were true to their time frame...plan on 8-10 weeks before you even get the finishing parts to your kitchen. The wait was not pleasant but when we received our cabinets, we picked them up to save a $125 delivery charge. The cabinets were catty wompas and cheaply made even after I paid for an upgrade. To fix the cabinets we had to take several apart ourself and rebuild them because of things not lining up, drawers not gliding etc....then when I paud extra for soft close doors, I had some come without the hinges. Had to call bailey's up and they came out to fix that but wouldnt do anything about the horrible craftsman ship of the cabinets because even though I took photos of the problems, i mounted some of them.
Next issue-counter tops. We paid $125 for a template to be done. The person who did this told me that when they come install the counters the next counter delivery fee of another $125 was included in the counter install price of $384. When my counters finally came in I was called by the salesman and I clarified with him that the delivery fee was included in the install price as I was told. He told me know that it's an additional charge and that I was told incorrectly. So it would have been over $500 just for them to deliver the counter and spend a half hour to install it. Because no one can get their story straight I decided to go pick it up myself and install it myself and save myself $500 After all the fees and delivery charges they tried to get me with I don't really think you save anything by going to Bailey's. Especially with the quality of cabinets you get.
I don't mind Bailey's inventory but I don't think I will ever purchase counters and cabinets from them again. And if anyone purchases items from them make sure they unbox them at the store and look over the seams of the cabinets before...
Read moreI was truly hoping BAILEY'S would be a stand up buisness as everyone said they would be and that I would be back on here with a postive comment. But unfortunately that it not the case. BUYER BEWARE!!!! We really wanted to give Bailey's the benefit of the doubt. As I said this was purchased last week. We called to see about the 30day return policy and was told they would not exchange or refund. We were told that there is a GE year warranty and to call them. That Bailey's would not be helping us. So we called GE, the repair man is here... actively working on the fridge. He said it must have been dropped at some time. The compressor is no longer attached. The line has been cut and drained of coolant. They should have never sold us this fridge in this condition without telling us the true state it was in. He said honestly the GE warranty would probably not cover the non functioning parts. So... again we paid $250 for fridge that does not get cold... It was sold to us under the pretense that there was a warranty...but the fact it had been dropped Voided that warranty. It's a shame... we had cabinets, stove, flooring and bunk beds that we were going to purchase for our Lake trailer... but will not be back. You lost us and quite a few people we know as customers. I am in Direct Sales and will also share this info with the thousand + people I know. I understand a discount center is a discount center...but you shouldn't blatantly RIP off your customers. This will posted in other areas of social media. You should do right to those who spend their hard earned money...
Read moreI bought cabinets from them because I’ve heard they have good quality cabinets at good prices. There cabinet quote was almost $2000 less than the quote from a custom cabinet builder in Nappanee where we purchased cabinets on our kitchen remodel. Their quote was $6000 complete and installed. We’d save money and install ourselves. It was quite a savings UNTIL… Every nuance of the cabinets at Baileys has add on up charges. We wanted a custom color to match our existing cabinets “$$$” We wanted Shaker style “$$$” we wanted square instead of beveled “$$&”. Oh you want trim???? I went over all the measurements with the salesman Tom F. Then I went home to double check and called him back with exact. Then went I picked up the cabinets and trim the top trim boards never got ordered. Opps they say, “it happens”. So I used existing trim boards I had but needed a 74” piece of 1”x2 1/2”. They told me they don’t custom cut so you have to buy a 8’. 1”x4” board. And the price? HUGE UP CHARGE!!! One six foot by 2 1/2” trim for the wall cabinets $160!!! One 1”x2 1/2” board. The piece came in and I went to pick it up. Instead of a8’ board I got a 6’ boats, too short to use. Again I had to order the piece and they did deliver. So to conclude. Once you add up all the extra charges and haled theirs came to $5500 and I had to install myself. They quality was good but nothing like the Custom built. Painting underneath and inside the cabinets. “Huge up charge” I only saved $500. So go to a place that can custom build and install. It’s worth the...
