2nd Chance Studios Beauty & BarberShop — Local services in North Little Rock

My son and I have been in search of a shop that fulfills our expectations locally for some time now. I am so thrilled to have these guys in town. As a mom who’s always running, it’s extremely convenient to have the shop in Maumelle. Not only are they local, but they primarily work on appts. This is awesome in regards to respecting your time. No more waiting hours for a service! From what I’ve observed, all of the barbers are incredibly talented, but we personally enjoy the work of Kale. He strives for excellence! He has done a phenomenal job with finding the balance between providing satisfaction to my son, while ensuring my comfort with the styles selected. He executes perfectly! The owner of the shop CJ, is personable, yet very professional. I’m not usually to keen on visiting the barbershop as a FEMALE, (I’m sure ladies know what I mean), but I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed by the standards that seem to be set within the shop. Everyone is very respectful! What I most admire is the ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY ON PROFANITY! My boyfriend and his brother came in around 4pm on 6/14 and in my opinion their cuts were not to standard with these reviews and photos. They are mixed and had loose curly hair past their shoulders. My boyfriend requested a trim and a line up and his brother just wanted a trim. Both cuts were uneven and my boyfriend left with over half of his hair cut off. He said that he was basically spun around while it was cut and by the time he saw it , it was too late and he was too embarrassed to say anything. They also mentioned when they first came in that the barbers expressed they were about to leave with all this being said I’m lead to believe it was rushed or they simply didn’t know how to cut their type of hair. This was his first haircut in years as he wanted to look nice for our anniversary but he left extremely disappointed and lacking confidence...

The 2nd Chance studio is very well rounded from barbers/stylist tht bring comfort with meetings/greetings with such warmth to fit whom they are as barbers/stylist tht take the best care of clients as my self and son! The business establishment is new running for comfort n to have the best hospitality when sitting in barberseat for public service.
