I was riding my push scooter on the bike path on the north side of the Arkansas river in North Little Rock when I saw a sign that offerred water, beer and gatorade with an arrow pointing to a grassy field.
So, I followed it along the mowed path finding more signs and flags to guide my way.
Eventually, I came to a golf driving range.
A banner promising cans of Bud Light for $2.50 greeted me.
Another sign said drinks were for sale inside.
There, a man named James greeted me in the pro shop.
I said I was looking for a beer when he asked if he could help me find anything.
I like local beers so I chose a Honeybird by Flyway. I think it was $3.90 tx incl.
He said they had free golf clubs to use.
A small bucket of 45 balls costs $6.95+tx.
He mentioned a fundraiser event for a food bank - the flyer is attached to this review. It is a live music event.
The music playing outside was nice as I sipped a cold beer and received a cool breeze as evening set in.
I watched people driving and chipping into metal water troughs.
To the left, people drove their vehicles up to tees.
When I got back to the bike trail I saw three deer in two directions eating grass.

The range is going through some changes and has some new construction but I believe they will soon challenge Top Golf in quality of product and services provided. The merchandise is actually affordable and they offer so much more than other places in town.
