Village Square Apartments — Local services in North Little Rock

The apartment and location was nice; however, the residents can be some pretty rough people. I had neighbors on my floor obviously selling drugs. Management refused to take any action on the situation. Several vehicles were broken into during my stay as well. I rarely could park near my building due to lack of parking spaces. We had a freak accident during which a phone exploded causing damage to the carpet and wall in one room. The management told us that insurance was only willing to pay to fix that room, and that we had to pay to re-carpet the rest of the apartment because, “they could not find a matching color”. I wanted to meet with them and discuss the issue, but, they refused to meet with me for several weeks as they were always “busy”. I was finally able to sit down and discuss the issue shortly before I moved out. The manager told us it would be several months before she would find out the final price of the carpet and she would get in contact with us when she found out. She then told us that she would be willing to work out a payment plan for the damages. I did not hear from her again until I attempted to move into a new apartment complex. At this time she told my new manager I still owed $200 and if I did not pay it in full by the very next day she would release it to the debt collectors. I paid off everything even though I disagree with having to pay for the carpet, and left in accordance to their requests. I was lied to, manipulated, and disrespected by the management of this place. It is extremely obvious that the current manager does not enjoy her job as her and the secretary have ZERO regards for residents. The only reason this place gets a one star is due to the fact that the maintenance was great. The maintenance man has a great attitude and always was willing help out. Maintenance was always very responsive...

I'm a little surprised at the negative reviews on here. I currently live here and have not had ANY of the problems other people seem to have had or are having. Its quiet, no one bothers me, when something has broken it has been repaired immediately, I'm given plenty of notice when they need to enter my apartment. The ladies in the office have never once been rude or anything but kind and helpful to me. So.....idk what yall are talking about. My only negative comments are that I think the apartments are a little expensive for what they are. Meaning, the appliances and fixtures are out of date. I'd like there to be ceiling fans. I'd like a lil more lighting in the apartment. The shower heads are terrible! And dont get me started on parking! Lol I usually have to park pretty far from...

This place has got to be the most unprofessional place i have ever come across in the hot springs area. Hell slumlords give better respect to their renters better then this place does. The heavy set brunette Who is the manager there is one of the worst people you can ever deal with. I kinda feel sorry for her. I mean what could make a person treat another person the way she do. To future residents of this place i would recommend looking elsewhere. If you do your research you can get alot more for your money and with management that will actually care for your needs. p.s. I really dont know how this lady still have a job treating people the way she do corporate really needs to look...
