Fresh Foods — Local services in North Platte

Honest review here on the new ownership change. I see workers as more content with their jobs now. Meat dept looks good. Prices are okay. Not great. Meat is way better than Walmart. Now for prices. I am actually still a little stunned by the prices. Pizzas are high. I figured that much. I need some burger. I like Bubba brand. It’s over 22 dollars for that here. This is 8 bucks or so higher than Walmart. Big red flag. Ice cream is high. Breyers is high. At Walmart it is less than half the price. Bread is actually about the same. Eggs are decent. Milk is decent. The brand they carry is a discounted brand by prairie Farms. Is has a distinct taste for whatever reason. Decent price. Juices are high. Chips are high on would suggest price shopping for sure. We live a few blocks away so it is convenient. However, if we spent 600 here we would have saved about around 200 bucks at Walmart. That is kind of sad...

I started going to Gary's on avenue a thinking that they would not change the labels on the meat like they do on 4th Street I went today labels changed I bought some portobello mushrooms that were sliced portem in my food so I can cook everything and in the very center nothing but a handful of mold so not only did I lose the mushrooms I paid for but the food I was preparing also I hate Walmart but at least I know what I get there I will not shop either Gary store unless it's an absolute necessity I will not buy me there I will not buy produce there but at least with the canned goods and items like that I don't...

RUDE EMPLOYEE.

I tried scanning at the self checkout & it said the item was not recognized so I decided to just go through an employee & right away she was extremely rude for no reason at all, all I asked was how her day was, she just glared at me. Great way to make a customer not feel welcomed.

The employee has short blonde hair with glasses & a bump on the side of her nose. This is my second negative experience with this employee. I hope management...
