Sacred Rites Tattoo — Local services in North Port

I’ve been to Sacred Rites multiple times and I have never been disappointed. Their shop is extraordinarily clean and sterile and customer service has never fallen short of wonderful. My daughter was stillborn at 36 weeks on October 23, 2020 and I decided I wanted to get a tattoo in memory of her. I came to sacred rites in hopes someone could put together the ideas I had and make it look good. Well I was brought to tears at the artwork that artist Jeff Graham came up with. I literally told him what I wanted and let him use his creativity to make it all fit together nicely and he came up with something better than anything I could’ve ever imagined. Jeff was so empathetic towards my circumstances and was a wonderful person to spend four hours with. Our conversations were nothing short of enjoyable and I learned a lot from his love of science and animals! Even creepy crawly spiders, which I now have somewhat of an appreciation for, thanks to him! It was truly one of the best tattoo experiences I’ve had. He walked me through everything he was doing and made sure I was happy with what he came up with. I really couldn’t be happier and I will go to him for all of my tattoos in the future. Fantastic. Mario designed the perfect piece for me using ideas I had from a few different places. It is everything I hoped for... definitely plan to book with Mario again.

Update 5/6/16: Just had another piece done at SRT, by Mario. I love that he really gets what I want, and executes it flawlessly. The shop has a laid back vibe, but is still extremely professional and CLEAN.

Update 6/9/19: Decided to finally get my nose pierced on June 1, since I am allowed to wear piercings at my new job. Megan was fantastic. Perfect placement, quick, and essentially painless. She gave thorough aftercare instructions and encouraged me to come in and see her if I had any issues or concerns. It's healing perfectly and no infection or other issues (but seriously, aftercare! Listen to your artist/piercer).

Update 8/29/21: Had Khrys do my conch piercing yesterday. Really liked her way of explaining her process and communicating exactly what she needed me to do. The piercing itself was painless. It looks amazing. Would definitely recommend...

This is the place you WANT to go! I’ve been several times for both tattoos and piercings. My experience with piercings has always been great. They make you feel comfortable and are very knowledgeable. I wanted a certain type of piercing, but because of my anatomy, the placement was not recommended. I’m sure going somewhere else, it probably would have just been done, leaving me with issues. I would rather be told it shouldn’t be done than end up with something that could potentially cause problems! I’ve also had a couple tattoos done (so far- I will be having more!) I’ve gone to both Jule and Javier. Both were very accommodating and worked with me on my ideas. Both did awesome work! I have to say, Javier was one of the most gentle artists I’ve ever been to. So much so that I had to fight off dozing off! (and I’ve been to many an artist over the years) I am so much looking forward to my next piece!
