Idk how Lauren got a high stars review since honestly her service and how she handled the situation arent professional at all. Okay, so I understand that because my nature hair is black, its hard to get to the color that i want, and it does take more than one session to get to the correct color.. but really, there are still tons of black hair, especially undernearth, and at the back too.. there are also some of the spots that are brassy lines of foils. I paid 175$, included tip so it was like 200$, but my hair looked really so messy at the back. Maybe she thought i wouldnt be able to see it so she didnt even care to touch my underneath at all. She also didnt blend out the color well so there were uneven colors just in one strand. So I tried to contact her and told her the problems, but she seemed like it was my nature black hair fault, not because of her work. I showed her the pictures of my brassy messy hair but she just tried to ignore it, especially when i asked her about the brassy foiled lines that she messed up. Until I sent her the picture that show off tons of the black hair that she didnt bother to touch, then she decided to suggest me come back to fix that black spots. Okay, I told her that i could come at that time for a hair fix, but she didnt answer so I tried to call the salon but all directed to voice mail. My fault at 1st because I responded her late, but I thought well, maybe she wasnt available at that time anymore so I headed down to downtown, then she replied that she could. So I told her I'll be there a little bit late becoz I was in downtown, trying to get to her asap.. but she sounded like she didnt want to fix so kept saying if i werent be there at 1:30, ill have to be back next week. I explained her that I tried to contact her but couldnt, and i was just right at downtown, now i have to driving back like 30min to her salon, she said no later than 1.40.. okay, so I was there at 1:35, came in, no word of hello or anything, just told me to come and sit, fixing my hair with unhappy attitude, i also noticed some throwing tools behind me sounded like she pissing off, but i still tried to be patient. After work, I was about to not give her any tip, but I really felt bad if i didnt, so I handed her some. Seriously, I didnt try to be mean or being picky, but if you were me spending that much money but got a messy hair as a result, will you be happy at all? I also wanted to ignore this, was so unhappy so i was about to write a review complaining how bad the service was, but she finally fixed my hair so I stopped. But then I found out she blocked me on instagram, like seriously? If you are professional enough and handle the situation good, i dont think i would complain like that, plus, I still talked to her as nice as possible. And since you are a salon owner with long time experience, dont block people like that, it just shows people that you are really unprofessional stylist tbh. I wish I could post some of my messy brassy hair picture and our conversation on here.
