Hello to everyone at Brigido's Fresh Market; We visited the store to purchase some small items (because we were in the area), we did not know what the prices would be like; you are expensive and the store seems more like a specialty shop, while my husband says that it's like "Trader Joe's". No matter, the store is clean but items are not always marked accordingly; we got three jugs of water and I thought the pricing was $1.29, which is steep for us and purchased some other items. While paying at the register, the associate named Miles (which makes me think of the green mile or that Miles Davis trumpet player who died long ago) I was more concern about the water when it ranged up, anyhow, we paid and left but when we got in our vehicle and I was viewing the receipt, I said to my husband that the water should have been $1.29 and I will not pay nearly $4.47 for three waters; we went back to exchange the water and got back in cash a mere 60 cent. What I failed to notice was the price of that Blueberry Crumble pie as this cost $7.99 and was to have been $4.99 from the table nearby the deli the sign read $4.99 and the pie did not have a price and when that young associate was ringing it up he did comment on it but I ignored his comment, but I should have watch the price as it ranged but I forgot; anyhow, our loss $3.00 more than what we expected to pay. If we'd known it cost $7.99, we would have passed on it. I did try to get my husband to turn around so that I could go back inside to complain but he said no, to let it go. We're poorer than dirt and that is my fault. I am no good, skill-less and lazy. Otherwise, lovely store. I hope that he enjoys the pie as part of our Easter meal. I hope, the poor man is not having a good life and that's my fault, more things go wrong than I can make mention...

However the citizens of North Smithfield are something else.
I witnessed them calling the police on a homeless woman for holding a sign. For doing nothing more than expressing her first amendment rights.
I decided to look this woman up on Facebook and WOW.
The people in North Smithfield are rude, ignorant monsters with nothing better to do than harass this woman and husband.
Husband has MS and can barely walk. His wife is panhandling to get by until a job can be found for either of them.
However to deliberately stalk, harass, threaten and attack this woman is not right.
Why won't the police help her and press charges on these people for false allegations, slander, defamation, harassment, threatening, stalking and assault?
The city would rather spend money on an illegal ban of Nike shoes than to actually help the homeless or those whom are attacked.
Sorry Brigido's for having to deal with these people and sorry for using this to get a statement across.
People won't see it otherwise.
I love your shop and you have helped many homeless people.
You deserve...
Read moreHad to give it one star because I wouldn't be able to write this review if I didn't. I went to the Brigado Market today because they advertised Chicken cutlets and pork ribs for a $1.99 a pound. If you bought 3lbs of each well, I went to the register and it rang up At full price of each package. I immediately questioned it and she brought the packages back to the meat department. She came back with an answer that it had to be a 3 pound package. You couldn't buy individual packages, but when they don't have 3lb packages of either. They only sell individual small packages of 1to 1.5 pounds each then obviously you can't buy them so I asked if they packaged them in 3lb packages And I was told no, they're always packaged in individual packs. So what kind of a sale is this? If they don't package anything in 3 pound packages in chicken cutlets and ribs that you can buy on sale, they obviously want you to go there and end up buying individual packages at more money. I just needed to throw this out there. So no one else gets caught up in TheirWay of doing things in...
