TLDR: A Thyme to Cook was an absolutely incredible caterer and day of coordinator (shout out to Catherine!! you angel!!). They are not cheap, but we definitely got what we paid for and couldn't have been happier. Our venue was the Eolia Mansion at Harkness Memorial – because this was a historic venue, we were limited to only 6 approved caterers, one of which was ATTC. We ended up going with them because we felt like they offered the most inclusive service, they definitely embraced our unique vision, and since we didn’t have a wedding planner, we knew we wanted a day-of coordinator to ensure things went smoothly. We got married in May, and we STILL are having guests rave to us about the quality of the food, the professionalism of the service, and just the beauty of everything (ATTC did the setup of our décor!). We had a wildflower theme, which they embraced and helped us see through with many colorful napkin choices/coordinated tablecloths, set up our candles/hurricanes, arranged our memorial table, and displayed our signage. Every single member of the staff was SO KIND and SO GOOD at their role. We also had multiple serious allergies – ATTC accommodated these without issue, and all of our guests who needed those accommodations had rave-reviews about the care that was taken to ensure they were safe to enjoy the meals provided. Due to a staffing change, our coordinator changed unexpectedly 2 months before our big day. I’ll be honest when I say I wasn’t thrilled (we had spent months/hours planning and meeting), but I feel truly blessed that we had Catherine. Even when I was a pain from the stress of it all, she handled my concerns with grace and made me feel heard and valued. Food waste is something my hubs and I care deeply about – she personally made sure that all food scraps went to a farm for pigs to enjoy. No waste! And when the bar was busy, she hopped behind and started pouring drinks herself. She kept our rowdy party on task and even saved the day when my girls couldn’t bustle my dress. Catherine personally was a godsend, and we are so grateful she put up with us! For transparency, we paid a little over 40k for ~140 guests. We had a raw bar, lobster roll, and some other premium add ons, and I feel like with the service we got, it was worth every penny. The dinners were great portion sizes and delicious, the apps were the BEST (all of our guests couldn’t get over the options and quality), and the dessert bar was fabulous. We even did late-night breakfast sams to go. They did our cake too - it was SO BEAUTIFUL and aesthetically perfect with our theme. There’s nothing I would change! It was perfect from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend ATTC, especially if you are getting married at Eolia ;-) thank you for everything!!!

We worked with A Thyme to Cook and Lex was our coordinator. We could not have asked for anything better. They totally understood the vision of the event we were going for and customized the most perfect menu. They helped bring our vision to life through amazing food, coordinating many of the rentals, and fabulous service throughout the event. We got so many amazing compliments on the food and we would highly recommend ATTC for any event.

If you're considering hiring A Thyme To Cook - do it! We looked at several caterers for our wedding in September 2019 and I am so grateful we decided to spend the extra money and go with ATTC. Their immaculate quality, outstanding customer service and precise attention to detail are second to none.

Their office is located on the most gorgeous property in the woods in an old farmhouse building that is beautifully decorated. This serves as a good representation of what you can expect from them. From the minute I walked in the door I was treated like I was the most important person in the room. Juli took great care to find out exactly what we were looking for and how they would be able to adapt a menu to match our vision. They even had a sign outside the front door to welcome me, personalized with my name...! I was sold.

Once we made the easy decision to hire them, I was introduced to an absolute angel of a wedding coordinator, Liz. Liz is patient, organized and experienced. Her relaxed demeanor made it so easy to have a casual conversation about what we wanted. When we had our first meeting, they provided a delectable assortment of scones and berries with citrus mint flavored water which took my breath away. The royal treatment did not stop there. When we came in for our tasting, they sat us at a private table for two where we tasted all of the items that would be on our dinner menu. I can genuinely say, the meal we had on the night of our wedding was entirely consistent with what we had during that tasting. Bold, unique flavors that some of our guests said was the best they'd ever had.

ATTC was incredibly accommodating and I always felt like they completely understood my vision. I don't think they said "no" to anything we asked for. In fact, I'm pretty sure there is nothing they can't do. Their chefs worked with us to create new menu items that fit our theme and even offered their own creative ideas which we of course took. On the day of the wedding we were absolutely stunned by the decor. They completely nailed our Sicilian theme, even more so than I could have even imagined. Liz was there every step of the way and they even assigned us a designated assistant who made sure my husband and I had whatever we needed throughout the night. I've never experienced that level of attention to detail and I doubt I ever will again. A Thyme To Cook is the epitome of "5...

Please look no further than ATTC and Rachel Leyland!! 10/10 FANTASTIC !! When planning our wedding at Eolia Mansion at Harkness State Park we were offered a list of 5 caterers. I read reviews and noted how highly praised ATTC was rated and I’m so thankful for others taking the time to review this company because we are so incredibly fortunate we chose them for our wedding day ! From the first phone call with Juli, she was extremely kind, helpful, and patient. She thoughtfully took the time to listen to our ideas of food preferences while being conscious of our budget. Fast forward to a few months later we were paired with an event coordinator who was the STAR of the show!! If you are ever lucky enough to be matched with Rachel Leyland you will be in the absolute BEST hands throughout the planning process and the day of. I truly cannot express enough praise for Rachel. She was a key role in bringing my vision to life that day and keeping me calm and updated throughout the process. She was so organized, kind, compassionate, a joy to work with! Any time I had (what felt like a silly question or request) she was there immediately to answer and reassure me. She and the staff were SO attentive the day of, including a designated staff member for just the bridal party keeping you fed and hydrated. Every single thing was perfect from start to finish with this team. Their attention to detail does not go unnoticed. The food was incredible!! We still have guests a month later raving about how phenomenal everything tasted. They did such a professional job handling any dietary allergies or preferences. Their team worked together so efficiently and were so kind to us. We couldn’t be more grateful for the time and efforts Rachel and the ATTC team took in making our wedding a dream come true. I give the highest praise and recommendation in choosing ATTC for...
