We purchased a replacement for our microwave from Donâs . We made the purchase using text messages and links to their website. We were able to quickly find a suitable replacement, pay and set up installation. The installation occurred about 5 days after the purchase. It would have been sooner but we couldnât accommodate the quickest appt time. The day of installation we received a link to the installation teamâs schedule and location so we would know when they were coming. They arrived well within the original 3 hr window. The installation was prompt and professional. The new microwave looks good and works well so far. The only downsides to this experience are: Installation and delivery were separate charges due to our rural location and this added $250 to the bill which was not evident until the final payment clicks. Given the speed and convenience of the purchase, it seems an OK trade off. Also although the installation was well done, the replacement product was not an exact fit with the original. This was known at purchase. We wouldâve appreciated some discussion of where the gaps in the fit would be with the installation team as none was offered. Again this will NOT keep us from using Donâs as our first choice...
   Read moreI would have given more stars for my recent Don's experience, but the front end (starting in early October when I called one of the offices about purchasing a new double oven) was a bit frustrating. I wanted to replace my 15+ yr. old Fisher Paykel double oven (purchased at Don's), but they did not have the same model in stock and I needed something before Thanksgiving. I opted for a Kitchen Aide, but was told that it would not fit my current space, and they would have to send out "official measurers" who charged me $50.00 to take the same measurements I did & texted. They were to send the measurements to the sales office, but never did and when I contacted that office 2 days later saying I wanted to purchase an oven, it seemed like they didn't want my business? I wound up dealing with Anthony from the Robinson sales office via email -- he was more responsive and helped me schedule the sale and installation. The two installers who came -- Mitch and Girard -- were professional, friendly, and efficient. My oven is working beautifully and I am ready for Thanksgiving.    Read moreJeff, the sales person was great. He explained everything and walked me through the process. The washer and dryer are beautiful. The delivery/installation was not a pleasant experience. 1. I asked which guy was Maurice, the driver - no response. 2. I showed the guy the slide on my screen door to hold it open. Instead he took it apart and the door was swinging back and forth the whole time. 3. The cord on my dryer was dragging on the ground. It was yanked over the doorway and dragged to the laundry area. 4. There was a light flashing on the washer indicating the final spin cycle. I asked him why, he pushed the start button a few times, said he didn't know and told me to read the book. 5. They fixed the screen door but left it propped open, even though I had told him I couldn't reach it (I am handicapped and have to use a cane). When I tried to get them back, they waved and took off. I tipped them because of the labor but it wasn't as much as it would have been if things had been more professional.
