Hello hello!!! Just a heads up this little store is hidden and isn't on a main road though thanks to that you'll honestly find better stuff.
Though I personally enjoy looking through all the items in the store, and yes you may find it daunting the way items are stored but it's what makes finding the things you like more worth while.
So please don't judge it too harshly on first glance and remember to be respectful. Plus it's fun to barter for a change of prices on items just be reasonable.
Cool things that don't get mentioned is that there's cheap deals on clothing they have a sweet deal that if you fill up a grocery bag full of clothes (hats, sweaters, shoes) it's $10 and also fill up a contractor bag full of clothes it's $20 trust me if you're into getting vintage clothes or even just wanna make a complete outfit and don't want to do the deal clothes are just $2. So remember prices on some items are on the shelf's.
If you’re a nervous Nacey and kinda socially awkward it’s okay to ask questions to employees, trust me their more than happy to help you and even willing to help grab things from the top of the shelves for you, so don’t hesitate to ask because they might even help you find the items you wanna take home without realizing it.
Overall this thrift store is worth the venture and don’t feel disheartened by its looks because if you just walk though and don’t actually look through you might miss out on something you like.
Take my word for it I’ve personally found great items especially antique cups and plates… even a few decorative pieces that I honestly love from scavenging through the shelves.
So don’t be scared to move things around to look just because it might fall just be respectful and understand that this thrift store. It isn’t like common corporate chain stores, it’s a small business and it’s worth the venture so even if you’re looking for furniture, Pokemon cards or even Magic or just cute jewelry or nick-nacks for you’re home. So visit this hidden little gem...

Thank you for pointing that out...didn't think I needed to mention how a piece from the clasp broke after my daughter used it for ONE day....BECAUSE it was a piece of crap that obviously wasn't real 14K. I had already emailed you upon receiving it that I had suspicions that it wasn't real and would be taking it to a jeweler!!! Of course, after a piece broke off...that only confirmed that it wasn't real! Thank you for pointing that out! Whether it had broken or not, I was going to get it tested and would have still wanted to return it upon finding out it's not 14k. Also, coincidentally that jeweler's machine is not accurate?! He put his gold ring as well as my Hawaiian bracelet that all have a 14K hallmark, and it tested accurately. So don't blame your dishonesty on anyone else. You knew darn well it wasn't real! Acid test?! LOL..okay!
Unfortunately this company is not honest! They listed on eBay a kids bracelet as “14k” and when I bought it and received it, my initial reaction was how cheapy and flimsy it was! How do you not, as a thrift store, have a gold testing machine?! I took it to a local reputable jeweler who said that it’s definitely not 14k or any kind of real gold. I took a video of him testing it on his machine which you can clearly see when he tests his own 14k ring, the different results the test produces. His ring does show that it’s real gold and the bracelet I purchased from Bay Thrift is not. I can only attach photos not video, but why does Bay Thrift not have a gold testing machine as in the photo where I took it to get tested…or maybe they do, and unfortunately not being honest since they claim it was 14k. I really think...
Read moreWould love to come back when the thrift store is walkable, not overpriced, and enjoyable to navigate. The Pokemon is twice the price of other stores, most items are priced over what you would pay new, and many Dollar Tree items were marked $2+. We love to support secondhand but this is what makes it difficult to enjoy, especially when you can't navigate the store for fear you will break something. The exterior of the building looks inviting, but as soon as I saw a rusty planter priced for $25 on the sidewalk I realized that we would be walking into the same overpriced issue inside. It was very noticeable that children must have been a concern to the owner, and as parents ourselves, it's not always the most pleasant to see multiple signs posted everywhere about not touching toys etc, so many signs about so many things leads to people not reading any of them. We were happy to find a couple things, though we did pay too much for them, still wanted to support.
It felt more like a storage unit boutique than a place to find affordable secondhand items. I appreciate what thrift stores stand for, but this one seemed to have lost touch with that mission. Hopefully, they consider reorganizing and reevaluating their pricing and customer experience...
