Eastern Finish — Local services in North Yarmouth

What a great find! We contacted Brett at Eastern Finish because we wanted to repair/paint/update our cabinets vs. installing new cabinets. Our decision was driven by cost, and also because we felt it was wasteful to totally remove the cabinets, portions of which were still useable.

They finished almost a week ago. I am more than pleased with the outcome! Not only did they paint, they also changed the doors, hardware, and some of the drawers (which were gradually breaking down). The result is my kitchen, which had what looked like big box store cheap cabinets, now looks like a custom kitchen! And I love the finish of the Italian commercial paint they used. It’s truly like a factory finish.

Additionally, the people with whom we dealt were excellent at what they do. Brett does the actual painting, and he is also the front end contact. The communication was excellent. He responded timely to all our inquiries and was pleasant and nice. His painting was very expertly done. Ryan did the wood working, and he is equally talented and easy to deal with. He came to measure, remove the old cabinet doors and drawers, I believe he built the new drawers, and he reinstalled everything. He was very patient with me as I made some last minute changes.

And there was no mess! Emily came and “tented” the kitchen. (She was very nice, also.). There was no paint other than where it was supposed to be, and no sawdust or anything outside of the kitchen.

I wish I could give Brett and his team at Eastern Finish 10 stars! They took our dingy old cabinets and transformed them into absolutely gorgeous cabinets that look better than custom-made! Eastern Finish is the real deal! Brett and the team of skilled professionals he has assembled are an impressive combination of artistic vision and technical expertise. They came into my 28 -year-old kitchen and helped me assess what was working for me and what could be improved upon, on both an aesthetic and a functional level – the footprint was fine, but we needed new doors with an updated look, and many of those deep cabinets could be converted to super-efficient drawers, etc. We are thrilled with the result which is a truly beautiful kitchen that’s wonderful to work in. On that note, Brett and the team are also very easy to work with. The communication during every phase of the project was excellent – via phone calls, texts, and photos, I always knew what to expect and I was included in every step of the process.
