The West Virginia Way — Local services in Northfork

Not sure where to begin with this…My family and I ventured up to WV to experience the HMT for the first time this past weekend. I had high expectations of the trail system as I have heard so many great things over the years. The trails didn’t disappoint, however what made the trip exceptional for my family and I, was the people who own and operate The West Virginia Way! JJ and Melissa are beyond incredible humans. While I am certain there are many great places to book lodging while in WV, I seriously doubt you’ll find another JJ! This was an amazing experience all around, largely due to JJ’s kindness and infectious personality! He went above and beyond in so many ways to make sure we had a great time. You simply won’t find a better person to interact with.

The house was well situated with everything that we needed. It was extremely clean, convenient, and comfortable for my entire family. Just an all around experience of a lifetime! I cannot say enough good things about JJ and Melissa. They are awesome people who go out of their way to help you with anything. I mean anything. My wife was involved in a 4 wheeler accident. She had to be taken to a trauma center hospital. She is fine now. JJ picked up my 4 wheelers from a mountain and took them back to my place where I was staying. JJ and Melissa picked us up from the hospital and took us back to our place. They are the BEST and God send. We have made friends for a lifetime and will be going back next year!!! well, can't say enough good about JJ and his wife, they are top shelf people 👍 the place we stayed was clean and as described. the best part was how friendly and professional they are. i was shocked they store your number in their phones, so when you call they know who it is. sometimes little things go a long ways. our first day JJ rode with us, which was huge because we are a family of 6. we have 3 that are 6, 6, & 7, so it was important for them to feel safe and have fun. well he hit a grand slam, they had a blast. at the end of the day he took the time to map out our second day. would definitely recommend them and wouldn't hesitate! heck our 16yr old and i are already booked and going back in...
