Wow. So disappointed. I have never written a review in my life but feel as I should now. I came here with confidence to support a small business, as well as go somewhere that had reasonable pricing. I brought my wedding dress in to get a bustle added. I called and she quoted me $20 per button which should have been $60 in total. When I got there she quoted me $100. Should have known things would go south from that. She showed me the button and we agreed on that. She had my gown for two weeks. So tell me why I come to pick up my gown, and there are metal hooks on a white wedding dress? They are so ugly and noticeable. She wouldn’t fix it and instead claimed that she searched for two hours but couldn’t find the button. There was a wedding dress on the rack with the exact buttons we agreed on, but somehow she couldn’t add them to line? Why wouldn’t she contact me first? She did not get permission yet did what she wanted anyway. She held my dress and did this is which I did not agree to or condone. No contact, no asking, just added what she wanted. Then she demanded $100. So I paid and left. I contacted her later and she wouldn’t refund unless she undid what she had done. She should have never touched my wedding dress if she didn’t have the items in the first place. Then, when I asked if she could switch them out for white, she informed me she actually had the buttons but she didn’t think they looked good, and she couldn’t find the white buttons So she ruined my dress, lied to me, and took my money. Go elsewhere and save yourself the time and grief....

I cannot recommend Shoua highly enough! I brought in two pairs of work pants to be hemmed. I didn’t even try anything on — I just dropped off my favorite pair for her to match. She was so thoughtful and observant. She noticed I had been stepping a little on the hem of the original pair and asked if it would be okay to trim about a quarter inch more. I panicked a little (a past bad experience made me nervous), but she reassured me… I’m so glad I trusted her! She also asked if it was okay to match the waist size because the pair I brought was a bit smaller; I told her to only do one (just in case) and once again, she got it absolutely right. The results? Everything fits better than perfect. I’m honestly blown away. Her attention to detail, care, and craftsmanship are on another level. Shoua is a very sweet lady. This was my first time meeting her and needing her service. Shoua made me feel so welcome! I found her on google and took a chance because I needed two dresses and a shirt to be tailored fit to me. While I am not in a hurry, her turn around time is fairly quick. I would say about a week for mine. I love supporting small businesses. When you drive coming into the front, drive straight to the right into the back area. There is parking in the back and also her work area is down in the basement at the back of the house. Her pricing is very reasonable and she also takes payment by Venmo.
