Northville Lumber Co. — Local services in Northville Charter Township

I have been a Northville Lumber customer for a few years and I absolutely love the new location. The same familiar faces but a much more open and stocked retail space and it is much easier to get your order out back. One of my favorite things I have built - I really had no idea what I was doing but the great staff recommended Pinterest - well we found a design we liked and I used the wood they suggested and this Oak, Poplar, Birch, MDF mess turned out pretty nice.

Anyway, this place is amazing if you need anything lumber related and I hear they are great with decks too and if you have never seen the local Northville Lumber tv commercial about "big decks" you are...

Northville Lumber is great! Staff is friendly! However DO NOT order special order with Wolf, they procrastinate, send wrong and missing parts to orders and don't care how long it takes to fix their error. Original order was great, timely delivered. When we had to order more boards to finish our deck it took forever, the contractor had to go to a different job then come back and finish when Wolf decided to finally provide the missing pieces. Now they sent the wrong lights to go with the ones already received and it is taking more than the expected received time from last week! Maybe we'll get our deck finished...

Loading in the yard was a sight to watch, as the first young man loaded this material into my trailer by hand. Afterward, him and another crew of 2-3 guys took the time to get the load set properly and spent a long time making sure everything was properly banded and then loaded to my trailer.

I can't say enough about how nice it was to have a crew of people, doing what was above and beyond what they were required or expected to do, just to make it easier for the customer.

And to the guys in the yard - Thank you very much for doing that hard work all afternoon on 8/22 on the hot asphalt, It is appreciated...
