the staff at this place should set the model employee example for all dollar generals! this is only my second time at this location. friendly & considerate, i never thought that would be the best qualities of a store clerk from a patrons view. staff doesn't seem all wound up over stocking or straightening shelves, like previous stores I've been to, isles aren't blocked or overbearing with stock to be put away. last time i was there i had trouble with my credit card- i was so impressed with the way the clerk was so helpful, understanding & so patiently calm with me- the line that was forming behind me was taken care of by another clerk it was very smooth! the anxiety of dealing with the possibility of having to give up a full cart because of payment issues was averted all by the actions of the clerks! (i have had card issues in other locations & i would abandon my cart without trying more than twice to swipe card because of the clerks rude demeanor/heavy sighs, the vibe i was extremely inconveniencing them- feeling i have completely wasted the little time i have to shop). whoever does the hiring for this location has done well- Thank you to all employed at this location for...

Often when I come in for something specific it's generally sold out, and doesn't get restocked for weeks at a time, unless it's a vendor item. Or, the product I'm looking for is boxed away on the U-boats (or hidden by said uboats) that permanently sit in the aisles. I come in a couple times a week namely out of convenience and said uboats will sit untouched for a week or two if not more untouched blocking entire aisles.
Still, it's good for general stuff. Soup, pasta, frozen foods, the odd OTC medications, soap and general stuff no one actually goes to a convenience store for but buys anyway. If you want Worcestershire sauce, brake fluid, toilet bowl cleaner as a few examples.... Good luck, or...
Read moreStopped in today after work, so maybe 1245-1pm on a Tuesday. The girl working must have been new as I frequent this location. I w been having an issue with my bank card so it says “insufficient funds” until I process it again for the second time. I bought a pack of $5 washcloths. My purchase was declined so I said hold on I’ll be right back! My car was parked in the front so I went to grab my phone & on the way back in I hear the cashier yelling “she had insufficient funds!” To the manager across the store, I came right back in to complete my purchase so this felt uncalled for. As I said I frequent this store & never had a thing to complain about even tho it is a mess 97% of the time. Maybe just have a little bit of patience next time before you scream to the store someone’s card...
