Dollar General — Local services in Norton

I recently moved to Wise va. And of course needed cleaning stuff and had planned on spending over 100 dollars at this store. Bit once I arrived ,I was overwhelmed by everything. My husband and I pulled up to find the employee smoking and talking to another employee about how hung over they was...next as soon as you walk throughout the door all you see is shelves of misplaced stuff,things look thrown on the shelves...never in my 25 years of retail management have I ever seen this. I did need up getting trashbags, only because I found them easily. When I went to check out,the guy was so damn rude I wanted to let him have it. Pathetic excuse for D&G...And there is no way the manager didnt know,pretty sure they were there as well. Corporate needs to pop up on...

The store I'll give 3stars to. Total lack of leadership managerially speaking. Couldn't find anything I was looking for until.... 5stars on one cashier. She was so nice and helpful. Went out of her way to help me. She's a young blonde and her name started with a P I'm sure of it. But help like that is hard to find and that woman needs a raise. I believe her name was Paige. Literally sucked..empty shelves, store is in complete chaos, stock sitting on buggys everywhere. Manager in his office, no one stocking shelves. Been trying for a month to buy my dogs treats and have to go to another town to do this. If you would employ people and let then work more than 9 to 15 hours a week, maybe this store wouldnt be such a mess!! Why build a new store and have it look like a dump?
