My experience at Hammes Holy Cross College Bookstore was exceptional. What it lacks in size and quantity of readily available textbooks, it makes up for with its hospitality and genuine care for its customers. The staff was super helpful and very patient. Marybeth greeted me with a warm smile and asked how my day was as soon as I stepped inside. She was engaged in our small conversation and told me about all the current deals. She also told me what was most popular among certain demographics of people, such as hats for older men, sweatshirts for girls and t-shirts for women. When I was checked out with my notebooks, pencils, and sweatshirt, she pulled some strings to save me more money than I already would have with the deals.
