We had heard about RV World from some folks in Arizona last year and since we are driving through the Ft. Collins area this year we decided to call and see if we could get in. I mentioned that we are from northern Canada and they said they were really busy but would do their best to fit us in. They even let us park in the yard and hooked us up to 30 amp power so we could be right there. We waited until the next day about 10:30 and then sure enough Tyler, their service manager / owner came out to discuss what we needed. Our kitchen slide has needed repair for 2 seasons but the shop at home kept telling me it's a really big job and they would grease the rails and "adjust the limit switches", then send me on my way. Tyler and one of his techs, Brian, looked it over and got right at it. The other shop was right about one thing, it wasn't easy but after a couple hours my slide is straight and working better than it ever has. Brian also noticed a broken shock mount on the drivers side of the rig and they welded that up for us too! I was very impressed with the work I received at RV World and I would happily recommend them to anyone. Tyler was back and forth working on a trailer inside with their other tech, Toad, (no doubt a nickname) and coming out to discuss my job with Brian. It was fantastic service and the bill I received was very fair in my opinion. Kim in the front office was really nice to deal with and maybe we got nice treatment because Canadians are known to be nice too. While there I picked up some extra parts for the road and they even let us stay in the yard with power until the next morning so we didn't have to move after 5pm on a Friday! We feel they went over and above regular service by a mile. They might not be able to fit everyone in like us every time but if you want great service at a decent price this is where you need to go. Hands down. Thank you Tyler, Kim, Brian & Toad for an amazing repair 1800...
Read morePoor customer service. No one is looking to assist or make the sale, everyone is looking for an excuse out. They pin it all on the front desk girl who is overloaded. They made an error and forgot to charge for shipping, instead of calling that day and saying 'hey, we forgot to charge for this, is it okay to proceed?' they simply added it to the bill ($150 charge) unannounced and forced me to pay in order to pick up my camper. Further, bad experience, my 5th wheel is 44ft long and they left me to back it in between two campers myself with no guidance. Had I not taken initiative I could have been there hours waiting (still waited 30 min before parking myself). Most places allow you to drop in open area and they park with forklift or tractor. When picking up, had some body work done, they left out parts needed for the install (fender brackets) and had missing screws (that hold fender to body). This is supposed to be 'new again' and is already 'used' upon completion. When confronting on the charges and the poor craftsmenship the owner/manager began swearing, sarcasm, and raising his voice attempting to engage in a physical altercation. He kept saying "if its not on the g* da* work order we ain't gonna do it". Who makes the work orders, the client or the shop? OPbviously adding billable items to the work order isn't an issue...I walked away and still paid in full. If you like dirty backwoods service with an attitude of ungratefulness then this is your place, otherwise please go to your next option on your list. I did file complaint with the BBB as well, so please understand this is not just a...
Read moreFather and I go on a trip once a year this place ruined our trip. The trailer that we got was rundown and should not be rented at the state it is currently in. Display pictures online were obviously taken many seasons ago. We got to our campsite to find that the trailer hitches locking mechanisms was broken so we had to fix it in order to even unhook the trailer. Once we unhooked the trailer we came to find out that the trailer was not producing any power. We removed the battery to see if there was an issue there and battery cables essentially crumbled. The cracks and breaks in the chords had been taped 10 times over and it was obvious that they had avoided replacing these chords multiple times. Being that we were 7 hours into the backcountry with no tools this left us with no option but to try and tough out the 20 degree tempatures.
We had to leave our trip two days early because of this RV and it's ability to simply function. Keep in mind this is the short list of issues we experienced with this RV. We contacted this dealership in order to return the RV early because of all of these issues. They declined to let us return the RV early and were pointing the fingers at us as if we had done something wrong. If there is any other option in town I would advise to contact them as the service and product that this place offers is the worst I...
