My personal opinion While watching Top Gun on TV with my friend, she happened to spot an air show — and guess what? It was happening at Kaneohe Bay! So we grabbed tickets and went today, August 10, 2025. 😆😆😆 We left in time for the 9 AM gate opening. Coming from Makiki, traffic was light in the morning, so it only took about 30 minutes to get there. It was my very first air show, and I was super excited and couldn’t wait to see it 😁😆😊 It honestly felt like watching a real scene straight out of the movie 🎞️🎬 The show itself was amazing! Honestly, I’d go again. The sports cars also so cool． It was like Top Gun in the sky 🛩️✈️ and supercars on the ground 🏎️🏎️🏎️. Top Gun vibes all around 😎 We were lucky to have perfect sunny weather ☀️, but wow… it was HOT 🥵🥵🥵 Pro tip: make sure you’re ready for the sun! Here’s my must-have list: • Earplugs (or headphones) • Water bottle • Cash 💰 • Small cushion • Sunglasses 🕶️ • Sunscreen (or an umbrella) With those, you’re set — you can just buy food there. Everything can be small and light to carry. We sat for a long time, so… let’s just say my butt was a little sore afterwards 😅

Despite long wait to get in, and this year, worse to get out, the airshow rocks! It's a must do. So many people but such a great experience.
