Mohala Farms — Local services in Oʻahu

I had a chance to visit Mohala Farms recently and it is a beautiful amazing farm. They have lovely organically grown vegetables including bananas, plantains, swiss chard, kale, collard greens, arugula, breadfruit, lemons and cassava. The lead farmer, Mark, really cares about taking care of the land and teaching people about the Hawaiian culture. This farm uses human waste to fertilize their crops. It is an extremely unhygienic environment. They use a mixture of bleach and water to wash their vegetables. There's a huge roach infestation where they store all of their food.
