Oh my goodness, I can't emphasize enough how amazing the staff of Perfectly Made is. I had the privilege of Erika doing my wedding makeup and Faith doing my hair! Everything came out AMAAAAAAZING!!!! Makeup: I had 2 trials with Erika. I told her that I had oily skin, mainly my T-zone. So we tried different methods of foundation application to see what worked with my skin. I also tried different looks and Erika was very patient with me, making sure I was happy with my makeup. Also, I was never a lipstick person as I could never find a shade or type that looked good on me. Erika actually found a lipstick that matched well on my lips and that I felt comfortable with! Fast forward to my wedding day, I felt GORGEEEEOUS!!! I loved my look and I didn't even have to blot once. She used this amazing oiling sucking potion that prevented any grease from seeping through. Everything about my makeup was perfect and Erika was always so sweet to me. She definitely made my wedding experience enjoyable and kept me at ease. She knew I was a crier too so she stayed back for first looks with my hubby so she could do touch-ups. My photographer was very appreciative of that hahaha. I absolutely loved Erika and couldn't have been more grateful. Hair: I have the typical straight, thin, Asian hair that can't hold a curl.. and of course I wanted curls for my wedding. So I knew I needed extensions and Perfectly Made was one of the only vendors who both provided and styled it. But of course I couldn't make it easy for them cuz my hair isn't a typical black or brown color...so Erika color matched my hair and special ordered extensions that was a perfect match!!!! Faith did my hair on wedding day and she was awesome! So funny and nice. We talked the whole time. She cared to every attention to detail and made sure my hair was perfect!!! My curls kept through the whole night and when I took out the extensions, my natural hair was still curly! That's amazing!!!! She even did my husband's groom pampering and he loved her too. Faith did my hair and makeup for my wedding day and she did an absolutely FABULOUS job! She was so warm and funny, and really helped me feel calmer during a very stressful time. Faith took her time and talked me through different hair and makeup options. I did a trial run just a couple of days before the wedding, and I'm so glad I did. I feel like some HMUA would get upset if you ask for changes, but Faith was so receptive and professional when I told her about adjustments I would want for the day, and she really took it seriously and made sure that I was 100% happy with my wedding look. We made slight changes to the makeup and ended up doing a different hairstyle which was perfect. Ask for Faith, you won't be disappointed! She's seriously the BEST.

If I could go back and change something, it wouldn't be with my makeup or skin prep but my husband's-- after our "first kiss," my makeup "cracked" and we had to do a little emergency fixer-upper makeup before taking photos. It was a little stressful, but I sincerely don't believe it was the fault of my makeup or the artist-- I think she primed and set my makeup well. But I think the oil on my husband's skin was what ruined my makeup. So just a pro tip to any future brides reading: Have your fiancé blot his nose and T-zone before the ceremony and thank me later! ;)

I worked with Erika and Ipo arranging the dates and what I wanted for my package and they were very kind and helpful. Book with this company for your wedding, you won't regret it. If I could go back and do it again, the only thing I would change would be to add services for my mom and other family to get their hair and makeup done with me, too, but it just wasn't in my budget nor would it fit into our wedding day timeline. The services here are pricey, but you WILL get professional quality in return. You get what you pay for, and I feel that this was money well spent so that I could look my best on my wedding day. I do admit, I wish that the trial was not as expensive as the wedding day as that doesn't really make sense to me since there's not the same "pressure," but I still felt the trial was worth the money spent at...

Before my trial, Erika and I spoke on the phone and she listened to what I envisioned my hair and makeup would be like. Living in California, it was a little scary to trust anyone for your special day. But I did a trial when we were in Hawaii for our engagement photoshoot last year and I loved my look! ❤️ I just knew I had to have her for my wedding!
