A cop hangs out and gives tickets to hikers for things like "obstructing sidewalk" (for having maybe an inch of bumper over the curb) and exceeding the 2-hour limit (even though this is the only parking at a trailhead leading to many miles of trails). This is a great view however don’t get caught parking here. We got out the car and hiked the trail close by. Planned on coming back within 2 hours. The sign says 2 hour parking left if the arrow which we did. . We got a $50 citation for parking in a towing zone. It was towed and cost us $240 to get it out of the lot.
