First and foremost, I understand that is Illinois law, and that stun guns have to go through certain paperwork, but when somebody is trying to purchase these things, don’t you think you should give them a heads up? So as soon as I walk in , the lady at the pickup counter couldn’t find my order. Once she did she had me go to the counter where all the firearms, stun guns etc are stored. before I could tell the man my name or anything he already alerts me I can not pick up my order tonight. I have to wait 72 hours. So instead I asked for a refund which for some reason is so hard to do in the store. No where on my email did it say cancel order. No where in the text messages. Luckily the man working the counter was very polite. He then sends me back up to the front, to the same woman and another gentleman who can still not figure out how to cancel this order. That’s three workers with no knowledge. I asked could someone cancel it from the store, they had no idea on that either. While asking for helpover the walkie, Bob, decided to hop on the walkie with quite the tone. And once he came up to greet me the tone was still the same way. And guess what, Bob didn’t figure it out either. He still had to cancel it inside the store. I asked for a number to call their customer service and all they did was give me a number to check the status of my order. Terrible customer service. It is important that your workers know the ins and outs of the system. If not take them old people out and hire the young ones cause Bob ain’t cutting it.
TO UPDATE: the refund has still NOT came to my account after talking to somebody on the phone Friday and while Bob was supposed to cancel it anyway on Thursday.
Today is now the Wednesday after I should have gotten my refund. I have talked to like 3 different people. Any time I call it is still saying my order is still in their system. So I’m guessing nobody in the store, in the corporate offices know what they are doing. Will never be...
Read moreI went to the store in O'Fallon IL. to buy my husband a depth finder for his boat as a birthday present. I was told they didn't have the one that I wanted to buy. I told the employee that the website said that there was 1 in supply.
I went out to the parking lot and ordered it on their website. I drove home and within 15 minutes I got a text saying my order was ready to pick up! Imagine my surprise!
The next day I drove back to the same store to pick up my order. I told the customer service employee my story and asked if I could see what I paid for. He was very nice and opened the box. It was the DISPLAY MODEL that I paid full price for.
It was all in pieces and stuffed into the box. I asked if all the parts were there because it was such a mess. He called someone over to look it over and I was told it was all there.
A manager also came to tell me that there wasn't any thing wrong with it so I could not even get a discount on it.
I WAS GIVING IT AS A BIRTHDAY PRESENT!
The 2 employees were very understanding but the MANAGER was very disrespectful. I thought I paid for an item that was brand new and he was trying to pass off something that has been handled by who knows how many strangers.
I should have ordered it from Amazon, at least they tell you if it's new or used!!
I will not be shopping there again...
(Oh and I will be telling everyone that I know about my shopping experience there and how I was treated by...
Read moreMy friend and I were banned from the store for nothing. I was looking at a few pieces of clothing and comparing their prices to the amount of money I had in my bank account. As I set the clothes down, a worker came up to me and asked me if I needed help with anything. I simply tell him that I was just checking my bank account before purchasing anything and he laughs before walking away. The second he turns the corner, I hear him walkie talkie that he found a shoplifter. I was confused because I had not done anything and concluded he was possibly talking about someone else. I see that I dont have enough money since I had not been paid yet, so I left the clothes in the aisle. I joined my friend while she was paying for the things she decided to purchase.. As I was walking out with nothing but my wallet and phone, the security guard tells us we were banned. I ask why and he offers to get the manager, so we wait at the front for roughly 10 minutes before they tell us the manager was busy. Another worker comes over and explains that we were suspected of pulling sensors off of our items. We hadn't, so my friend offered to show the worker her bags and receipt and I showed her my empty pockets. The worker refused to check and simply shrugged her shoulders before saying it wasn't her decision. My friend and I were banned after she bought over 100 dollars worth of merchandise and I...
